Viennese companies take note: secure funding of up to 25,000 euros!

In Vienna, the “Local Energy Supply” funding program for micro-enterprises was launched in order to strengthen sustainable investments and the local supply function. Loud Cosmo Companies receive support of up to 25,000 euros. This measure aims to not only promote energy efficiency, but also to increase the attractiveness of the business premises.

The funding can cover up to 50% of the costs of specific measures, while other projects are funded at 25%. The maximum funding amount is 25,000 euros per year, and the project-related costs must be at least 3,000 euros. The Vienna Business Agency explains the requirements and options in detail.

Eligible measures

Eligible measures include energy-efficient technologies such as insulating walls and ceilings, replacing windows and purchasing modern heating systems such as heat pumps. In addition, companies can invest in energy-saving LED lighting and external consulting services to develop sustainability concepts. Financial support of 25% is also available for measures to increase the attractiveness of business premises, such as structural renovations or new equipment.

To apply, specific documents must be submitted, including an online funding application, cost estimates for the desired energy measures and annual financial statements. These steps ensure a structured application and a fair distribution of the available funds. The business agency follows a first-come-first-served principle when submitting applications.

The initiative is part of a broader strategy that supports entrepreneurs and companies in contributing to better climate protection.
