Future perspectives: Knetzgau trainee day inspires young people and parents!
This year's trainee day took place in Knetzgau on Saturday, an event that attracted students and their parents to find out more about possible apprenticeships. This event, which was now held for the second time, offered the young people a valuable opportunity to get in touch with local companies and craft businesses. A total of eleven companies were on site to present their training offers and give participants insights into the various professional fields.
The companies that presented themselves that day came from different industries and offered a wide range of professions. These included the Constant Auto World, Coca-Cola and various local craft businesses. The diversity of the professions represented enabled the young people to orientate themselves comprehensively and make well-founded decisions for their professional future.
Insights from young people
Theresa Hetterich, a 13-year-old student from Krum, is already thinking about her professional career and appreciates careers in which she can work with people. Her favorites are geriatric nurse, nurse, hairdresser or florist. She wants to take her time with her decisions and weigh the options carefully.
15-year-old Paul Grüner from Tretzendorf completed his internship as a stonemason and was enthusiastic about the craftsmanship. He shows great interest in getting to know more professions as he is open to new experiences. Another internship is already coming up to explore another industry.
Lea Oberreuter, also 15 years old and from Rudendorf, did an internship as a childcare worker, but would like to concentrate more on office jobs. She plans to do another internship soon as an office clerk or industrial clerk because she thinks this area suits her better.
The mechanically talented Luk Wolf, 13 years old from Untersteinbach, would also like to start training in the craft. He thinks that becoming a heating engineer might be interesting for him, but he would like to try out different trades before making a final decision.
Leon Hanf, 13 years old from Kleinsteinach, also commented on his future. He got a taste of a typical female job at a Girls and Boys Day and found that working as an educator was unimaginable for him. Instead, he could well imagine training as a craftsman, similar to his father's as a carpenter.
Eva Schwab, 13 years old and from Oberschwappach, is still unsure about her professional future. Although she has already gained experience as a pharmaceutical technical assistant (PTA), she is more inclined towards an office job. The student plans to explore her options and find what she likes best.
Lukas Bischoff, 14 years old and from Ebelsbach, prefers a varied job and is looking for an opportunity to combine manual work with office tasks. He could also benefit from training in the agricultural office, as he doesn't want monotonous work.
Max Betz, 14 years old from Knetzgau, has a particular interest in office jobs. He is considering both training as an industrial clerk and training as an IT specialist. Through the trainee day, he was able to gather valuable information about various professions, including digitalization management, and broaden his interests.
