Schwentinental.Last weekend, a shocking incident happened on the grounds of the Albert Schweitzer School: unknown perpetrators felled a tree and damaged two other trees on the adjacent sports field. The Schwentinental police have started an investigation to clarify the background to this wanton destruction.
An alert school employee discovered the damage on Monday morning and immediately informed the police. During the investigation, officers found an ax that was presumably used in the crime. Despite this discovery, there is currently no evidence of the identity of the perpetrators, which complicates the investigation.
Police are looking for witnesses
The police have initiated an investigation into property damage and are calling on the public to help. Witnesses who have seen suspicious people near the school since Friday afternoon are asked to call 04307 / 82 360. Every tip could be crucial in bringing those responsible to justice.
