A traffic accident shook Naumburger Strasse in Jena on Saturday afternoon and ensured dramatic scenes! Here a car full of carefree against the tram line 4, which was currently driving towards the city center. The 29-year-old driver, apparently without thinking, ignored the right of way and raced over the stop line. What happened then was inevitable: a violent collision!

Despite the remarkable speed of the car, the tram was not prepared. The collision left a devastating damage of at least 10,000 euros on a distance of about 15 meters on the train. The journey ended abruptly for the car driver, because his car was completely driving and had to be picked up with a towing service after the impact. The cleanup also had a significant impact on the line traffic of the tram! There were massive restrictions on line 4 for around an hour and caused trouble with the passengers.
