A dramatic fire recorded an animal van on the B84 at Frankfurter Strasse in Eisenach on Monday morning. 170 pigs were on board when the truck's axis caught sudden fire, which led to a massive smoke development . The sight was a shock for passers -by and residents!

With an impressive commitment, 21 emergency services of the professional fire brigade and the Eisenach-Mitte volunteer fire brigade reacted quickly and deleted the blazing fire. Fortunately, after the first reports, all pigs survived, but some animals suffered from the terrible incident. The flames attacked the truck from below and caused slight injuries in the animals. Who would have thought that a simple transport could end?
