SPD city councilor Stefanie Lehenmeier: Shocking allegations in Germering!

Shocking allegations shake the SPD in Germering! City councilor Stefanie Lehenmeier is at the center of a scandalous fraud case in which she is accused of embezzling over 14,000 euros from a pensioner's account. The investigative authorities report serious allegations: Lehenmeier, who helped the 80-year-old pensioner with errands, is said to have withdrawn money from his account without authorization in at least 20 cases!

Now the SPD is drawing conclusions! The board of the Germeringer SPD announces that Lehenmeier will be relieved of her duties until the allegations are clarified. “We take the allegations seriously,” said Maximilian Hermenau, the SPD chairman. The committees are about to be reshuffled - the next city council will meet on November 5th to decide on the division of responsibility and take further steps!

Infidelity, conviction and appeal

The Fürstenfeldbruck district court sentenced the city councilor to a suspended sentence of one year and four months for breach of trust. She also has to repay the embezzled sum along with interest. The pensioner, who found himself in dire straits due to his late wife's income, was forced to seek help from the “Weißer Ring” association after he realized the extent of the financial grievances.

The amounts that Lehenmeier is said to have withdrawn varied between 200 and 1,400 euros. The whole scenario only became apparent when the pensioner's account was empty and even the funeral costs could no longer be paid. Despite her serious accusation, Lehenmeier is not remaining idle - she has filed an appeal and wants to have the verdict reviewed in the regional court.
