Mast emphasized that management mistakes should not be made on the backs of employees. “We as the SPD will fight for every job,” she shouted and announced that she would strengthen co-determination, including through initiatives for greater collective bargaining. The situation is getting worse because before the third round of collective bargaining at VW, IG Metall and the works council are pushing for a quick conclusion before Christmas.
