Dubai chocolate conquers Fehmarn: The new trend from the Internet!
Fehmarn. The Dubai chocolate, a trend that was sparked by Tikok, inspires not only children, but also adults. This sinfully expensive treat from whole milk chocolate, pistachios and angel hair has conquered the tastes in the storm and provides long snakes in front of the stalls.
Hamed Razmy, an ice cream maker from Fehmarn, recognized the trend and laid out himself. "I bought my children a table for 15 euros, but was disappointed with the taste," he says. But instead of giving up, he decided to produce the chocolate himself. "The prices for angel hair have exploded by the hype," he continues. The first 40 plates were sold out in no time and the demand is unbroken. "The only type of ice that was sold out that day was the Dubai chocolate," laughs Razmy.
An Influencer brought the trend rolling
The origin of the trend lies in the United Arab Emirates, where the chocolate has been marketed under the name "Can’t Get Knafeh of It" since 2021. A viral video of an influencer who has achieved over 80 million views catapulted the candy into the hearts of fans. Even large brands like Lindt have joined the trend, which leads to long queues in the shops. A Kiel pastry shop and a snack machine in Reinfeld also offer their own version of the coveted chocolate. The world of sweets has changed and the Dubai chocolate is the new star in the sky!
