Lübeck City Run: Lionsrunner triumph despite construction site chaos!

Lübeck was the scene of an exciting event on September 29, the city run, in which a committed group of athletes from TSV Neustadt took part. A total of eight Lionsrunner and four students went on the route, which was partially changed due to construction work this year. In bright sunshine, the runners had the opportunity to complete different distances that ranged from 500 meters to 10 kilometers.

The Lionsrunner set ambitious goals, especially with regard to the club rating in the 5 kilometer run. In particular, they hoped for a podium. The team, consisting of Pia Feline Loors, Nicole Warmer, Peter Massny, Rolf Brandt, Andreas Loors, Jakob Loors and Carina Nicole Lenz, worked together and finally reached third place, which successfully fulfilled their objectives.

In the individual ranking, two runners stood out. Pia Feline Loors secured second place in the overall ranking and was also the fastest in her age group under the age of 18. Nicole Warmer followed with an impressive third place and was also awarded the fastest woman in the competition. The men also showed impressive achievements: Peter Massny and Rolf Brandt won their age groups and Andreas Loors achieved third place.

Anna Hoffmann also showed her skills at the longer distance of 10 kilometers and secured second place in her age group. These successful results not only prove the sporting performance of the participants, but also the excellent training work of TSV Neustadt.
