Free training in SH: This is how you train effectively!

On Monday, October 7, 2024, free further training for club coaches will be offered at all DFB bases in Schleswig-Holstein. This further training is entitled "Small rooms, big effects - play on a goal". The aim of this initiative is to convey new approaches and techniques in football training and help the trainers to design effective units.

The event not only deals with individual forms of training, but also introduces entire training sessions that can serve as the basis for the coaches. This is particularly important because coaches of several teams often have to train in one place at the same time, and often only one goalkeeper is available. Here the demo training units start and provide valuable ideas in order to be able to carry out intensive and high-quality training despite these restrictions.

Details for further training

The event begins at 6 p.m. and ends around 8 p.m. According to the practical training sessions, there is the possibility for an exchange with the DFB base coaches present. Trainers can ask questions and share experiences what promotes knowledge transfer among those involved. This DFB initiative aims to increase the quality of training in young and amateur football. Working together should be worked on in innovative methods to promote player development.

The trainers in Schleswig-Holstein often face challenges when it comes to creating motivating and at the same time effective training sessions. With the demo training sessions offered, the DFB wants to present practical solutions that help trainers to offer players the best possible training. It is therefore of great importance that these events are carried out regularly and create space for creative exchange and discussion.

Overall, further training on October 7 could make a valuable contribution to improving training conditions in football. By presenting common approaches and promoting networking among the trainers, it is expected that new impulses are brought to regional football.
