The police commitment was triggered between ten people after an emergency call about a fight. When the officials arrived, they only met the 28-year-old, who showed his ID and emphasized his uninvolved. Despite this statement, the officials carried out search measures. In June 2024 there was another court date in which the 28-year-old was sued for assault, but was acquitted. The video was presented as evidence that documents the illegal search and the use of violence by the police officers. In the reasoning of the judgment, the district court of Kiel made it clear that the presentation of the police officers in this case was incorrect.

The representative for the state police, Samiah El Samadoni, criticized that such incidents damage the confidence in the police. The Kiel police are investigating the two officials internally.
