Neuenkirchen: Renaturation of the White Moor starts with excavators!

in Neuenkirchen, the white moor is brought to life! The Nature Conservation Foundation has begun with the renaturation of the impressive raised bog that extends along the B5. Excavators are in use to create an all-round water lock, which should hold the rainwater with special foils and peat walls. Rare plants and animals can be found on 25 hectares, including the precious moltberry. A real treasure of nature is thus protected!
