Dino Fitness Zwickau closes after 32 years - new owner comes!

A new chapter begins in the Zwickau fitness area! After 32 years, Helge Terreping, the legendary operator of the Dino Fitness Eckersbach, hands over the keys to his studio. On Tuesday, the 65-year-old opened the doors for the last time on Max-Planck-Straße and said goodbye to his loyal athletes. "I'm looking forward to the time afterwards. With my wife I would like to drive the river cycle paths in Germany and migrate the 'green band'," reveals Terreping with anticipation for the upcoming adventure.

In his time as a fitness pioneer, Terreping has looked after around 1,000 professional and recreational athletes, including well-known faces from FSV Zwickau and BC Zwickau. "I am grateful that the studio was accepted and that people apparently liked us very much," he looks back on the many years full of sweat and success. But the devices that once trained the muscles of the Zwickauer are no longer up to date.

new operator, new concept!

Stefan Friedrich, the new operator, is already planning big changes. From January, the studio will be reopened as a franchisee under the name "Fitomat" and promises the latest technology. The devices are replaced by new, contemporary models, and the members can look forward to a fitness room accessible around the clock. A fresh wind blows through the oldest gym in Zwickaus, while Helge Terreping goes into early retirement and tackles his new plans!
