Hubertusburg: revelations for the resettlement of the Bessarabian Germans!

Oschatz, Deutschland - Wermsdorf. The history of Hubertusburg Castle is newly illuminated! On Tuesday, October 29, the Freundeskreis Schloss Hubertusburg invites you to present the latest Hubertusburger writings at 6 p.m. This edition devotes itself to the castle as a resettler camp for the Bessarabian Germans in World War II and reveals the often forgotten fates of these people, who were looking for refuge between 1940 and 1941. Ulf Müller, Advisory Board of the Association, explains that the knowledge of this story in the region is largely unknown. Historical photographs and personal records of the resettlers complement the exciting publication.

Family music autumn in Oschatz

Oschatz. A musical highlight awaits the families! Family music autumn will take place in the monastery church on Sunday, October 27, at 4 p.m. The doll stage "Urania" from Chemnitz will perform the piece "Save Mortimer", while the children of the parish of Oschatzer Land make music under the direction of Kantor Matthias Dorschel. From 3 p.m. there is already coffee and cake in the municipal room, and admission is free, but donations are welcome.
