Oschatz. drama in the fire station! The municipality of Cavertitz has decided to offer the rare fire truck 8 of the Iveco-Magirius brand, after years of faithful service. The vehicle nominal costs only 8,500 euros - a real bargain for a vehicle with just 28,000 kilometers on the speedometer! A real stroke of luck for collectors and fire brigade enthusiasts!

But the freight has its pitfalls! Important to know: the fire engineering has already been removed from the vehicle! So it is not all gold that shines. But for the municipality, which is obliged to take the decommissioned vehicle out of service, this is a necessary step, explains Mayor Christiane Gürth. The auction takes place on Zoll-auktion.de and is already attracting great attention-a total of 900 interested parties have already looked at this offer!

The community has already celebrated success with previous auctions! In the past few months, no fewer than three similar vehicles have been sold successfully. "We have been whispered that the online platform works fabulous," enthuses Gürth, while looking back on the positive experiences with the auction. So far, the municipality has even sold two supporters and a Barkas of the fire brigade via the platform, and the prices achieved always exceeded the expectations!

It remains exciting, because the auction only runs until November 18! Although no bid has currently been received, the mayor is optimistic - "This is normal, after all, the big bidding battles usually only take place shortly before the end!" And where is the money? Under no circumstances should it go into the community capital, but rather benefit the fire brigade of the municipality! A clever move for the voluntary flame extinguishers!
