Waldheim, Deutschland - Waldheim. A true spectacle! On Saturday, the sports hall of the Waldheim secondary school experienced a top-class table tennis event-the 20th family tournament! With an overwhelming participant record of 60 players in 30 teams, the TTC Waldheim created enthusiasm and a mood that exceeded all expectations. Jörg Gräber, the head of the club, emphasized the deep roots of this event in the club's history and the region.

The atmosphere literally pulsed with energy, especially when the six -year -old Max Peschke was celebrated as a crowd favorite. The spectators cheered and cheered him on, which increased the enthusiasm into immeasurable. But that wasn't all! The eight table tennis tables were literally upset! Teams like "Team Generation" or "The Stollen crazy" faced the challenge and fought for victory.

Exciting playoffs until the end!

In the unique Swiss system - a format that guarantees excitement and motivation to the last point - all teams were challenged until the last round. The combination of individual and double games kept the players busy. And the crowning high point? The “Wall Crown” team from father and son crowned the day with the third tournament victory and grabbed the coveted trophy. The honor was not only for the winners, because the teams of two to five were also happy about documents.

Another highlight was the presence of participant Steffen Dammann and his partner, who had traveled from Mörtitz. While Markus Gräber claimed the greatest absence with his impressive arrival of 470 kilometers from Bretten near Karlsruhe, the whole hall celebrated the cohesion and family tradition of table tennis. After the award ceremony, many players remained for a free game - the perfect conclusion of an incredible tournament day!
