Heiterblick, Leipzig, Deutschland - A new chapter for Leipzig is opened! With the opening of the exhibition on December 3, the Heitenblick district gets a fresh coat of paint. Mayor Thomas Dienberg invites everyone to discover the defense designs of the urban planning competition in the Paunsdorf Center. Here, citizens have the chance to contribute their ideas and proposals for the future development of the new city district. An event that not only opens your eyes, but also shaped the future of the city!
a mixed quarter for everyone
Heiterblick-Süd will develop into a living, mixed city district for approx. 4,000 people. Under the motto "Stadt develops city", the city of Leipzig plans to implement this ambitious project without profit orientation. The city's largest municipal housing project is being built on an area of 63 hectares. Between the Paunsdorfer Wäldchen and the A14 motorway, a common good area is created for all generations and life situations.
The goal? A model quarters that reflects the social diversity of society! The promotion of community, municipal and cooperative living creates a stable, long -term affordable living environment. In addition to apartments, commercial space, public facilities as well as recreation and leisure options are also integrated here. The future of Heiterblick-Süd is not only promising, it is also actively shaped by the citizens!
