In the Erzgebirge district, a spectacular light trip created a festive atmosphere on Sunday. 53 festively decorated vehicles, including trucks, tractors and motorcycles, started around 4 p.m. from the Oberen Hauptstraße in Oelsnitz. The magnificent convoy distributed thousands of cookies and gifts to care facilities, old people's homes and children's facilities. The route led through Oelsnitz and further via Neuwürschnitz to Stollberg and other surrounding places such as Lugau and Heinrichsort before the vehicles returned to the starting point.
