Bautzen honored high school graduates: Dominik Pietschmann receives council medal!

Bautzen, Deutschland - Bautzen. The Mayor of Bautzen, Karsten Vogt (CDU), awarded the council medal to the high school graduates Dominik Pietschmann. This award is handed over to students who are noticed by their outstanding academic achievements and their social commitment. Pietschmann, student of the Schiller-Gymnasium, stands out not only through his impressive Abitur grade of 1.0, but also through his versatile commitment in and outside of school.

During his school days, Dominik Pietschmann was active as a class and course spokesman, where he played an important role in the organization of numerous events and also participated in the digitization of these activities. A special highlight was the help of the 150th anniversary of his high school, which he actively supported.

He also founded a school Bible circle that offers a platform for exchange on religious topics. Here he not only helped plant the trees, but also showed his organizational skills when he launched the first "Cleaning Day" at his school.

Through his role as a small group leader at the Christian scout youth, Pietschmann continues to be committed to the community and expresses his passion for religious activities. Mayor Vogt and the members of the city council congratulated him on the award and wished him good luck for the future.
