Aggressive dog at demo in Görlitz: The police shoot, 80-year-old injured!

In a dramatic incident in Görlitz, the police shot an aggressive dog that caused excitement during a protest rally in front of the Alstom plant. The dog, who had torn his 43-year-old owner, bit at least one passerby-an 80-year-old man who then had to be taken to the hospital. The situation escalated when the officials tried to record the advertisement.

dog out of control

The dog, which was hardly tamed, even attacked a police officer who was bitten in the boot. In a desperate attempt to control the situation, a police officer fired a shot, but missed the animal. The dog continued while the officials locked the area. Fortunately, the animal later became less aggressive and was finally immobilized with a veterinarian's anesthetic shot. Then the dog was brought to a shelter.

protest against changeover change

The incident occurred during a demonstration in which around 100 people took part. This protest campaign was directed against the planned conversion of production to tanks in the Alstom plant. The rally was organized by the "Bündnis Oberlausitz", which also included right -wing extremist groups such as the Free Saxons. The Franco-German armaments group of KNDS apparently is interested in the Görlitz plant, which previously produces rail vehicles. Alstom plans to sell the work, which makes the waves clog up in the region.
