Magdeburg lights up: Light trip for children on January 11, 2025!

On January 11, 2025, a special light trip will take place in Magdeburg, which should enjoy children. The event starts at 4 p.m. at the parking lot of the fair in Tessenow Straße, 39114 Magdeburg, where the participants come together. The journey begins at 4:45 p.m., which leads to the cathedral square and is expected to end around 7.30 p.m. The light trip is open to all children and registration is not required.

The organizers of the event are committed Magdeburgers who have set themselves the goal of giving the children happy. The idea for the light trip came up at the beginning of December 2024. Despite the events on December 20, the decision to carry out the event was made approved by the police and the city administration.

By January 5, 18 vehicles have already registered for the Korso. Special rules apply: flags, banners and horns are not allowed during the Corso to protect the peaceful atmosphere of the celebration.
