A shocking incident occurred on Monday evening at a rest area in Sandersdorf-Brehna, Saxony-Anhalt. A 50-year-old truck driver and his passenger were considered victims of a brutally violent attack. They had parked their Volvo truck at the Köckern service area and, after getting out, got into a heated argument with an unknown man who claimed that his parking space had been stolen!

The verbal exchange quickly escalated! The unknown man pulled out a knife and used it against the driver, injuring his thumb. The words became actions and the aggressive confrontation took on bloody forms. According to police spokesman Michael Haßmann, the attacker could not be caught after the attack - he jumped into his vehicle and sped away, leaving the 50-year-old bleeding. For the driver himself, the fate was apparently bearable enough to forego medical treatment, but the event did not leave him unaffected. He immediately filed a complaint against the unknown man.
