The chances of a white Christmas are best in Neunkirchen - with a probability of 14 percent. This means that snow falls every seven years on the holidays. In Saarbrücken and Saarlouis it looks a little darker with only 12 percent, statistically, there is a white Christmas every eight years. The last snow -covered Christmas in Saarland was in 2010.
