The chances of a white Christmas are best in Neunkirchen - with a probability of 14 percent. This means that snow falls every seven years on the holidays. In Saarbrücken and Saarlouis it looks a little darker with only 12 percent, statistically, there is a white Christmas every eight years. The last snow -covered Christmas in Saarland was in 2010. So it is high time to return the white splendor!

If you don't want to be dependent on the moods of the weather in Saarland, you should travel to Oberwiesenthal or Quedlinburg.
