Red alarm level in Saarbrücken! On Saturday, November 2, the state capital becomes the setting for a spectacular civil protection exercise. Between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., around 45 emergency vehicles will rush through the streets of the city and over motorways in three impressive columns. An event that you shouldn't miss!

The exciting route begins at the Ludwigsparkstadion and leads through various towns before it ends in Brebach. The column is identified by striking flags in blue and green and by blue lights, so that everyone immediately recognizes that a well -organized unit is on the move. An impressive demonstration of operational readiness!

Important information for drivers

There are some important rules for all drivers: These vehicles form a bundled unit that is considered a single vehicle! This means that the column has privilege and follow the same traffic rules as the first vehicle. So you can even drive over the traffic lights when the first vehicle has green. An absolute must for all road users who want to be on the move!
