Speyer, Deutschland - The Speyer Soroptimists have set a strong sign against poverty in old age with a generous donation of 5000 euros! This initiative supports the Silbertaler project, which was launched by Beyond Unisus Stiftungs GmbH. Silbertaler has set itself the goal of helping needy seniors and helping them with weekly food boxes that are gripped and delivered by committed volunteers. This important campaign is made possible by donations and through cooperation with regional food markets and the Speyer Tafel.

The donation of the Soroptimists flows directly into the food boxes that are so urgently needed. President Sabine Stephan-Flory emphasizes that the Speyer branch of the service club wants to draw attention to the problem of old-age poverty that particularly affects women. Soroptimist International, a global organization of working women, is committed to socio -political Engagement and has mobilized 7,000 women in 224 clubs in Germany.
