Frankenthal cleans up: 2470 helpers hope for great prizes!

an impressive commitment to cleanliness: Around 2470 participants took part in the "Clean Frankenthal" cleaning campaign this year! This great initiative, organized by the own and business enterprise (EMF), took place from September 23 to October 5 and now attracts everyone's attention. On Tuesday, November 12th, at 5 p.m., the winners of the raffle will be announced, and the tension will increase! The event takes place in the EWF lounge at Ackerstrasse 24, and all participants are cordially invited.

The raffle promises exciting cash prices in different categories: school classes, kindergartens as well as clubs and individuals can hope for profits. Among the participants were more than 2,000 children from eleven schools, 19 kindergartens and twelve other institutions who worked together for a clean Frankenthal. Even two kindergartens from Bobenheim-Roxheim participated in this important campaign!

The results are impressive: a total of around three tons of waste were collected, including cigarette butts, glass bottles and packaging - but also bulky objects such as mattresses and car tires! Mayor Nicolas Meyer (FWG) is enthusiastic: "The cleanliness of our city is important to me - I am very pleased that so many, especially young Frankenthaler, have actively tackled the cleaning campaign." A truly remarkable commitment to the environment and the community!
