The jack of all -outsassa from Bad Ems: Bodos New Future with Reoo!
Markus "Bodo" Wieseler has made a name for itself in the gastronomic scene in the Bad Ems Region in the past twenty years. The creative entrepreneur, who comes up with a variety of projects, is planning the opening of his latest business idea for January 2025: Reoo, a service for cleaning and maintenance of bar systems. His entrepreneurial journey reflects the changes and challenges of gastronomy, which are characterized by his joy of innovation and passion.
Wieseler started his gastronomy career in 2004 as the managing director of the "Kaiserhof" in Bad Ems, without prior experience in beer cones. His talent for the industry revealed itself quickly, and two years later he opened the Wilhelms in the former hotel restaurant "Goldenes Fass". This restaurant quickly developed into a popular meeting place and shaped the local culture. The 43-year-old not only worked as a host, but also began to organize events outside of his restaurant. His company BodoEvents is now one of the main players at fair and city festivals in the region.
a path full of challenges
The past few years have been shaped by various setbacks and challenges for Wieseler. After the Wilhelm's closure in 2019, he relied on education and founded a training institution for professional qualification with Wieco. But then Corona pandemic came and presented its companies with enormous economic challenges. Events no longer took place, and the educational institution also had to close. Fortunately, he was able to start again with the fun fair in Urmitz after pandemic and celebrate old successes.
"It was a hard time, but after the first shock the turn came," Wieseler describes the difficult phase. For him, returning to the gastronomy was not only a financial necessity, but also a fulfillment of his passion. He expanded the mobile event business and found that the need for high -quality event equipment increased. In addition to classic gastronomy, it increasingly also became active in the rental area and offered serving cars and cooling devices.
Wieseler goes a logical step further in his new company. Reo will offer the cleaning and maintenance of taverns, an area that is close to his heart. Many restaurants are often not aware of the importance of regular and correct cleaning. Wieseler explains: "I have often experienced that the systems were not properly waited. That is why I trained myself and purchased everything necessary to offer professional cleaning."
The new service in detail
The Reo's services offered include thorough cleaning of the taverns and checking safety regulations such as the gas warning systems for carbonic acid disposal systems. Through his own experience and after visiting seminars, he acquired the necessary technical knowledge in order not only to clean, but also to carry out repairs. This is intended to ensure the satisfaction of its customers.
"It is important that our service is not only clean, but also efficient," emphasizes Wieseler. The activity is planned so that the ongoing operation of the catering businesses is not disturbed. "We do not come at peak times, we are based on the needs of the catering businesses," he adds. The first inquiries have already been received, which shows the interest in such a service.
With Reobo, Markus Wieseler closes the circle of his entrepreneurial activity. "The gastronomy business is dynamic and constantly demands new ideas and concepts. I am excited to see how the company will develop," says Bad Emser, who is born. If you want to learn more about the upcoming service, you can soon find out about the website of BodoEvents or by email to reo@bodoevents.de.
All of these developments contribute to Wieseler’s remarkable career that not only testify to signs of entrepreneurial success, but also of adaptability and the ability to innovate. His stories and projects will continue to remain an integral part of the regional catering scene in the future.
