Pirmasens celebrates the November market: enjoyment and music over three days!
Pirmasens – The November market shines with splendor and enjoyment! From November 8th to 10th, 2024, this traditional festival attracts people to the vibrant city center. Three days full of exquisite wines, delicious food and rousing live music - a feast for all the senses in the city of seven hills!
At the heart of the action is the popular wine tent on the Lower Schloßplatz, and the impressive Ferris wheel, which sits majestically in front of the parish church of St. Pirmin. Visitors can look forward to culinary highlights: In the heated wine tent, talented winemakers present their exquisite wines, including wines and seccos from renowned wineries such as Wallhäuser and Emil Bauer. Master chef Eric Kunz and his team create an autumnal menu that is impressive - from creamy pumpkin cream soup to fine pumpkin ravioli.
A feast for the senses
The Schloßstrasse is transformed into a tempting gourmet mile with a variety of delicacies: grilled dishes, sweet churros and more await visitors. And the little guests can have fun on the bungee trampoline! An exciting highlight is the “Ostseestern” Ferris wheel, which rises a majestic 35 meters into the air. 100,000 energy-saving LED lights transform the night into a luminous wonder.
Musical accompaniment should not be missing at the November market! On Friday evening, the band “Stroke Unit” creates a festive atmosphere, followed by the rousing performance of “Casual Chic” on Saturday. Sunday morning promises relaxed jazz sounds from the cafe house trio, while the duo “Pina Colada” heats up the atmosphere in the wine tent in the afternoon.
And don’t forget – Sunday shopping! From 1 p.m. the shops invite you to stroll around, so visitors can not only enjoy the market but also shop for the colder season. Be there when the Old Town Hall invites you on a journey of discovery into the city's fascinating history, with exhibitions that will amaze you.
