Fire brigade houses in Pirmasens-Land: Property purchases for security!

The Pirmasens-Land community causes excitement with the purchase of new properties for fire station! In Schweix and Kröppen, investments are made to modernize and expand the fire brigade infrastructure. While the plans in Hilst have already been determined, the search for a suitable location in Schweix was a real challenge. Mayor Klaus Weber reports of difficulties in searching for the property, since the size of the planned halls - 30 meters long and 10 meters wide - has made negotiations with property owners difficult.

But now the solution is in sight! The community has found a suitable property near the Grenzlandhalle. The area is purchased for up to 63,000 euros, whereby the final price still has to be determined. This decision not only brings clarity, but also a significant saving, since identical fire station is planned in Schweix and Hilst. There is also no saving in Kröppen: around 18,000 euros will flow here to the purchase of a property for the expansion of the existing tool shed. The fire brigade is thus optimally set up in order to be up to the challenges of the future!
