New cultural magazine Palatinart: overcome and connect borders!
Kaiserslautern, Deutschland - Kaiserslautern . On November 14th, the Palatinate Library experienced an exciting comeback with the presentation of the new edition of the Palatinart magazine! After the Chaussee was hired two years ago, the publisher Annette Nünnerich-Asmus brings a fresh wind to the literature scene. With a healthy optimism and the hope of high editions, she presented the magazine, which now appears twice a year, to match the big book fairs in Leipzig and Frankfurt. The library manager Claudia Germann opened the event, which was characterized by exciting discussions and creative presentations.
Bounds and their importance - a central topic of the event! Regina Reiser from the district association Pfalz introduced the guests to the ambivalent world of borders, which have both separating and connecting. The innovative librarian Fabian Striehl delighted with a QR code that unlocked an audio file on the publishing page. Eva Paula Pick captivated the audience with excerpts from her novel "Krampenschießen", which impressively illuminates the contrasts between the past and the present. Morphy Burkhart tried to define limits and found that culture always has the ability to overcome it - a thought that is of great importance today.
emotional stories and musical sounds
Madeleine Giese took those present on a nostalgic journey through their childhood in Lorraine, while the Syrian guitarist Ahmad Wahhoud caused an emotional musical frame with his Arab song. Gerd Forster praised the event with the words: "It's a wonderful game across the borders!" The event ended with a lively discussion about the challenges and opportunities that the new magazine brings with it. Sarah Angelmahr emphasized the importance of promoting young authors and making the magazine known in schools. The response of the guests was moderate, but the passion for literature and culture was obvious!
