These funds flow to clubs, institutions and institutions that work for culture, social affairs, environment and education. A real ray of hope in challenging times!
"Thanks to these funding, we can enrich and strengthen life in the district," cheers District Administrator Hans-Ulrich Ihlenfeld. Since its foundation, the foundation has established itself as an indispensable support for creative and important projects that may otherwise never have seen the light of day. From youth work to environmental protection measures - everything that brings together and makes the community is promoted.
Diverse funding in the focus
A highlight is the support of the support group to maintain the Wachtenburg ruin, which receives up to 6,000 euros for the exchange of exhibition showcases. The Haßloch bird of prey station can also look forward to 5,000 euros that are used for a freezer and materials. The Palatinate Music Schools Carlsberg also get 5,000 euros for the establishment of a new musical teaching company in Freinsheim.
The house of the Diakonie Bad Dürkheim-Grünstadt receives up to 4,500 euros for a first aid course for people in mental crises. In addition, 4,000 euros will flow into the maintenance of the association bus of the Wildbird Rescue Bad Dürkheim. The district equal opportunities officer, Christina Koterba-Göbel, uses 3,500 euros for self-assertion courses at schools and organizes workshops on the subject of "digital violence" with a further 2,000 euros.
The foundation also supports the district youth ring Bad Dürkheim with around 3,100 euros for the participation of Polish young people in the youth camp Possenhofen 2024. For the skiing leisure of the seventh classes of the Hannah Arendt-Gymnasium, there is up to 2,000 euros. The Werner-Heisenberg-Gymnasium receives around 1,400 euros for an exchange with the twin town Paray-Le-Monial in France. And the Freinsheim cultural association is also supported with 1,000 euros for the literary reading in 2025.
