Ahrweiler, Deutschland - ahrweiler. It was an unforgettable day for the fifth graders of the Erich Kästner Realschule Plus (EKS)! Before the long -awaited autumn holidays, the students experienced an exciting excursion that skillfully united lessons and nature. Instead of sitting in the four walls of the classroom, the children went straight into the breathtaking landscape of Ahrweiler.

The day started at Ahrweiler Post, where the students already submitted their self -written letters to the former class teachers with shiny eyes. They proudly reported on their adventures and learning progress at the EKS in these lines! It was an exciting moment for many to send their own “mail” on the trip. A big thank you goes to the city of Bad Neuenahr, which wiped the postage cost one hand!

But that was just the beginning! After this emotional start, the path led to the vineyards, where the students explored the site with cards and sense of orientation. Learn with all your senses! Not only was there a major movement, the children also dipped into the fascinating world of winegrowers. They learned about the challenges that agriculture brings in this special region and brought exciting new knowledge home.

The students showed impressive perseverance and team spirit - each step brought them a little closer to new knowledge about their surroundings. The good mood was noticeable, and despite the effort, discovering together was pure joy!
