another month, and the festive season breaks in with full splendor over the Rhein-Erft district. Christmas markets are just around the corner, and preparations in Hürth-Kendenich are in full swing. However, the organizers who are launching the event for the sixth time are faced with a challenge: they are urgently looking for support in order to successfully implement the market.

The preparations for the Christmas markets are in full swing. Everywhere on the Rhine and the Erft, committed volunteers are busy checking the Christmas lights, making festive decorations and taking care of culinary delights. In Hürth-Kendenich, these volunteers coordinate an event that not only invites you to celebrate, but also wants to do good.

The team under the direction of Anke Baer is faced with the task of recruiting numerous helpers. We are looking for people who want to offer their cooperation before or on the day of the Christmas market. Be it to build up and dismantle the stands or during the event itself- every helping hand is welcome. Another wish of the organizers is the participation of a choir that occurs free of charge during the market. The profits from the sales of the market should benefit completely social projects in the Rhein-Erft district.
