Culture highlight in Silberg: live music and acrylic painting on October 13th!

in the picturesque Silberg, a small town in the Olpe district, awaits visitors on Sunday, October 13th, a unique cultural program in the cultural asset Schrabben Hof. The event promises a mixture of music, art and nature experience, in keeping with the upcoming Advent season.

The fleastate team of the cultural asset has already prepared intensively for the upcoming Advent flea market, which will take place on November 23 and 24. On October 13, however, the junk barn opens its doors for the last time this year, and there is plenty of opportunity to browse and discover.

A highlight of the day is the performance of the acoustic duo "The End of Blue", which will ensure musical entertainment in the theater from 2 p.m. While the guests relax over coffee and cake, they can admire the nostalgic exhibits in the museum.

For those interested, there is also the opportunity to take part in a trial workshop for acrylic painting. This workshop is managed by Sami Geber Mariam and is aimed at both beginners and advanced. The adult workshop takes place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., while children can add to 3 p.m. The fee is 30 euros for adults and 15 euros for children, whereby materials such as canvas and colors have to be brought with them. Another exciting offer is the mushroom hike, which is led by the herbal teacher and mushroom coach Gudrun Hieber. Here mushroom lovers can learn everything about the fascinating world of mushrooms from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. After the hike, a small snack is offered in the cultivarium. This event takes place regardless of the weather conditions, but the participants should bring a small basket, a mirror and a cup. The participation fee amounts to 15 euros, including snacks, and registration is also required.
