An exciting weekend for golf enthusiasts took place in Kierspe when the Golf Club Varmert acted as hosts for the final tournament days of the Golf-Hoch-Zehn series. In this new format that started in the Golf Club Siegen-Olpe, players collected valuable points over two days to determine the first-class golfers of this tournament premiere.

At the subsequent award ceremony, both the first places of the individual net classes and the gross winners of the men and women were awarded in singles. There were some outstanding performances, such as the Nearest to the Pin, where Phuong Nguyen from GC Grevenmühle with 2.05 meters and Robis Müller from GC Velbert shone with 3.5 meters. The Longest Drive competitions were also obtained by golfers of GC Velbert: Doris Rösch among the women and Simon Kluge for men.

In class B (HCP 18.0 to 35.9) Marie-Claire dominated Dutt-Wolter from Hückeswagen with 81 points. Gerd Birkhoff, who plays for the GC Grevenmühle, was the winner of the Netto class C (HCP from 36.0) with 75 points.
In the gross area, Ute Stojan from GC Siegen-Olpe impressed with 41 points among women, while Henn Wachsmann from the Golf Club Velbert-Gut Kuhlendahl decided with 64 points for the men.
This tournament premiere not only put the extraordinary talents of the golfers in the foreground, but also strengthened the cohesion among the clubs of the Golf-Hoch-Zehn series and offered the participants the opportunity to measure themselves in a friendly but competitive environment.
