According to the information from the Minden-Lübbecke control center, at least one vehicle with three people had an accident in the direction of Dortmund shortly before the Porta Westfalica junction. The circumstances of the accident indicated a potentially dangerous situation that immediately called the emergency services on the plan.

When they arrived at the accident site, the emergency services found a residential trailer team that was an accident in the side strip, while the towing vehicle had come to a standstill in the steep slope. In addition to the full-time fire and rescue station, the police, an emergency doctor and the rescue service Bad Oeynhausen were also on site. Volunteers from Kleinenbremen-Wülpke, Hausberge-Lohfeld, Holzhausen, Eisbergen and Veltheim-Möllbergen also support the main forces in order to cope with the situation as quickly as possible.
