Kleve collects for peace: Mayor and Bundeswehr ask for help!

Kleve, Deutschland - kleve. A call to solidarity! The Volksbund Deutsche Wargräberfürsorge has started its annual house and street collection, which lasts until November 30th. In this important time that revolves around the Memorial Day, the streets of Kleve are filled with committed volunteers who ask for donations. Over 50 percent of the financing of the Volksbund comes from donations - an urgent appeal to the citizens to work for peace and reconciliation!

On Wednesday, November 6th, Mayor Wolfgang Gebaschen will personally be in the Klever pedestrian zone to collect donations together with soldiers from the Bundeswehr and representatives from politics and administration. From 11 a.m. he will address the passers -by and ask for support. But that's not all! At the same time, a delegation from the Bundeswehr on the fish market, right on the Elsebrunnen, will spend a donation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A delicious incentive to support the good thing!
