The former building that was built in the 1960s needed a comprehensive renovation. After the municipal daycare center Alleestrasse had moved out, there were numerous unexpected difficulties that significantly impaired the progress of the renovation work. The carrier, the Kath. The comprehensive renovation of the roof, which was complicated by the old construction method, was particularly problematic. Another delay resulted from the need for a test statics that delayed the work by four months.

Nevertheless, the entrance ceremony was shaped by a festive mood, with the pastor blessing the new premises and baptizing them with holy water. He emphasized the symbolic value of water that stands for both cleaning and new life. "The dust and dirt problem is now a thing of the past," he noted when he led through the newly renovated rooms, which are now inviting and child-friendly.

Nina Siemerink in her speech recalled the joint departure and the growth that symbolizes the new daycare. The name "Arche Noah" stands not only for biblical history, but also for the meeting and security, which could be guaranteed in the daycare center despite the circumstances. She expressly thanked the parents for their patience and support during the renovation work, whereby the parents' council in particular was emphasized.

The tour of the new daycare center was a highlight of the celebration. The rooms for a total of 40 children who are in the Bear Cave and Fuchsbau groups offer a wide range of play and learning opportunities. Particular attention is paid to the art corner, which is equipped with a magnetic film so that the little artists can immediately hang their works. Even a sink ensures that the little ones can clean their hands right after painting.

The large windows in the rooms allow the children to look outside and they can immerse themselves directly in nature. Pastor Lauschus referred to the symbol of the rainbow, which Noah received as a sign of new beginning, and emphasized that the children in the new house can expect the same positive experiences. The inauguration of the "Noah Arche" is not only a milestone for childcare in Bad Driburg, but also a sign of the commitment of the community to create a safe and creative environment for the little ones.

A challenge in the entire process was the financing of the comprehensive renovation measures. Detlef Müller explained that the total costs were over one million euros, with a significant part of public funds. The additional load of 300,000 euros exceeded the original plans significantly. Nevertheless, he estimated the passionate work of the entire team, which worked tirelessly during the entire conversion period to make the daycare center an optimal place for its little guests.

The inauguration of the new "Arche Noah" daycare center shows how important to build up community and security for future generations. Due to the commitment of everyone involved, the children are now offered a place where they can learn, play and grow - in the spirit of Noah and his ark.
