The 29th Brilon Jazz Night is just around the corner and promises to be a musical highlight on Saturday, October 26th at 8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Brilon school center. Organized by Brilon Kultour, the two Echo Jazz prize winners Nils Wülker and Arne Jansen will perform with their “Closer Tour”. There is already great anticipation for the performance of these artists, who are highly respected in the German jazz scene.

Wülker, a talented trumpeter, and Jansen, a virtuoso guitarist, have developed into a well-rehearsed duo over the years. Their musical friendship spans more than two decades and their collaboration has brought forth many facets over the past fifteen years. Their latest joint release, the album “Closer”, rose to a respectable number 15 in the official German album charts immediately after its release in February. This is a remarkable achievement for a purely instrumental jazz album, as Brilon Kultour explains.
