180,000 euros for tub: New location for young arts in sight!
Wanne, Deutschland - The city of Herne receives an impressive transformation booster of around 180,000 euros! This money is used to examine two potential locations for the exciting "new arts" in tub. Mayor Dr. Frank Dudda presented the notice of grants in the Herne town hall and spoke of a significant step for the creative scene of the region.
locations for the future of art
The focus is on the Sparkasse building at Buschmannshof and the bunker at Wanne-Eickel main station. These places could soon become hotspots for young and urban art. "The main train station is of central importance for the connection of the new art district," emphasized Dudda. The city plans to create a detailed usage concept that includes a target group analysis in order to design the "House of Neue Künste Ruhr".The goal? A unique place for the scene of the new arts, the digital art, urban arts, new circus and electronic music combined! The vision is to network the local, regional and international cultural scene and make the potential of the new arts visible. At the same time, the House of New Arts should become a place of orientation for young people who will help you with personal development and the creation of future prospects.
The K-House is further developed regardless of this funding, which becomes the new location of the Sparkasse and is intended to serve as an excellent example of young art. In addition, the city of Herne launched a location for e-sports in a former arcade in the heart of Wanne. As part of the “Turning Better” project with the Körber Foundation, the E-Sports department of the DSC Wanne will receive rooms there. An exciting chapter for culture and creativity in Herne begins!
