Fulfill Christmas wishes: Heinsberger Initiative brings joy!

Heinsberg, Deutschland - In Heinsberg, the anticipation is very important for Christmas! The “Blessing Children's Saxes” initiative has been ensuring for 22 years that children from socially disadvantaged conditions do not go away empty -handed. While many children unpack their gifts with shining eyes, there are numerous who stand under the fir tree on Christmas Eve without a package. But that should change!

This year, an incredible 1399 wish list of children and adolescents who live or be cared for in social institutions were written. From November 18, these notes will decorate the Christmas trees at 17 locations in the region. Anyone who wants to help can take a wish list from the tree, get a gift worth around 15 euros and bring it back festively packaged by December 10th. A truly festive act of charity!

gifts for radiant children's eyes

The handover of the gifts will take place on December 13th at 4 p.m. on the town hall forecourt in Heinsberg. Here the team of "radiant children's eyes", led by Dore and Uwe Pfeil as well as Sandra Classen, is handed over to the caregivers of the facilities. The recipient facilities are diverse: from Caritas Association to the Evangelical parish to various youth and social services. This action not only brings joy, but also hope in the hearts of the children!
