Wegberger Eisbahn starts with music, curling and festive Advent market!

The anticipation is great! On Friday, November 15th, the Wegberger Eisbahn opens its gates and transforms the heart of Wegberg into a wintry paradise. By January 5, ice skating fans can do their rounds every day on the large ice surface. And the best? The entire system is operated with pure green electricity - a real profit for the environment!

But the ice rink offers more than just ice skating pleasure! An exciting music and event program creates the right mood. Every Wednesday from 4:30 p.m., a DJ heats up the mood for children and adolescents with the latest hits. A special highlight is the new music winter on Saturday, December 7th, where the popular "Klüngelköpp" will appear. That evening the Christmas village has extended opening times to offer visitors an unforgettable experience.

Another spectacular event is also on the program: the 14th World Cup in beer box curling! From November 17th to December 21st, over 130 teams from the region will compete against each other. This promises exciting competitions and lots of fun for the spectators!

And that's not all! The Advent market on the fountain will take place this year on the weekend of November 30th to December 1st. With a festive atmosphere and live music, visitors can enjoy local craftsmanship and culinary delights. On Sunday, December 1st, there is also a Sunday open for sale - a perfect occasion to get gifts and celebrate the pre -Christmas season!
