Total saxophone! A day full of music highlights in Heinsberg

On Saturday, October 26th, the Heinsberg youth music school celebrates a very special event dedicated to the saxophone. Under the title "Saxophone Total!" A whole day is designed with numerous activities, including workshops with top -class lecturers and a large concert that will take place in the evening. This event is now taking place for the third time and promises to become an extraordinary experience for both participants and listeners.

The youth music school has merged with several well -known music academies to implement this event. The highlight is the internationally recognized saxophonist Xavier Larsson Paez from the Hanns Eisler University of Music and Dance. In addition, Professor Oskar Laznik from the Conservatory for Music and Ballet Ljubljana from Slovenia as well as Lukas Stappenbeck from the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and Anze Rupnik, which also teaches at the International Academy of Music Cologne, will be on site. The concert is rounded off by the saxophone orchestra of the Cologne University of Music and Dance, which is made up of talented students of Prof. Daniel Gauthier.

parallel to the workshops, in which the active participants can play in various ensemble, there will be an exhibition where visitors can watch and try out noble Selmer instruments and mouthpieces. This not only includes the active participants, but also music enthusiasts who are just curious.

The concert, part of the "Classical Center in Rondell" series, is open to all music lovers and shows the saxophone in its most diverse manifestations. The performances include solo pieces, combinations with piano, duos with guitar, quartet and large casts. The program includes works by famous composers such as Piazzolla, Bizet, DE Falla, Mellits, Schostakovich and Itoh. "A festival for all friends of good music and extraordinary sounds", according to the promise of headmaster Theo Krings.
