Hückelhoven-Doveren, Deutschland - Hückelhoven-Doveren, a place that became the scene of a dramatic police operation on November 13th! The officers focused on the driving ability of the road users and discovered a frightening number of traffic violations. Among the uncovered offenses were not only speed violations, but also drivers who were under the influence of drugs. A 42-year-old Romanian noticed due to drug abnormalities, and a 20-year-old e-scooter driver had also consumed drugs before venturing onto the street. Both had to undergo blood samples and were displayed!

The controls also covered an alarming disregard for the safety regulations: twelve drivers were not strapped, and seven used their cell phone while driving - including a cyclist! Despite the dense fog that made the view difficult, many drove without sufficient lighting. The police reacted with oral warnings, but two drivers were so ruthless that they were traveling without any lighting. Here, too, warning funds followed due to vehicle defects and TÜV crossing.

In another shocking incident, a 34-year-old man from Erkelenz was confronted with an arrest warrant. However, he was able to avert his detention by paying a fine. The police also carried out speed measurements on the B 57 and found 68 speed overruns. The sad leader raced through a 70s zone at 109 km/h! These terrifying results illustrate the need for such controls to increase safety on the streets in the Heinsberg district.
