ASV Hamm-Westfalen celebrates comeback victory against Lübeck-Jansen injured!
pure drama in handball! The ASV Hamm-Westfalen prevails with a gripping 33:28 win against VfL Lübeck-Schwartau, but the evening was anything but easy. The home team had a shock in the sixth minute of playing: Fabian Huesmann got a red card and had to leave the field prematurely after scoring Dreyer at the seven -meter. Despite this setback, the guests started strongly and led in the 20th minute with four goals.
The first half ended with 14:17 for Lübeck, but the Westphalia did not give up! In the second section they turned up and became extremely aggressive, especially in defense. Jann Keno Jacobs took responsibility according to the red card, and goalkeeper Marcos Colodeti showed outstanding parades. After a good eight minutes of the second half, Yonatan Dayan managed to equalize. The ASV finally settled decisively and did not take the lead.
A victory with a drop of melancholy
The joy of victory was overshadowed by the injury-related substitution of Tom Jansen, who wanted to give a comeback after a muscle injury. His unfortunate collision with an opponent after landing ensured that the Dutch international failed again - it remains uncertain whether he will be missing longer. Despite these setbacks, the ASV Hamm-Westfalen recorded a convincing victory and consolidated its position in the league. A struggle that remains in the memory!
