Hagen –A brazen shoplifter caused a stir in an electronics store on November 15th!At around 3:30 p.m., an attentive security employee observed the 59-year-old plugging in two electronic devices and trying to leave the store without paying. But the thief didn't expect the brave security man who stopped him and took him to a staff area of the store.
But the thief wasn't ready to give up without a fight! In a desperate attempt to free himself, he punched the security guard in the face. Fortunately, he was able to fend off the attack and the police were immediately alerted. The situation escalated when officers arrived and temporarily arrested the drunken man with a blood alcohol level of 1.3 per mille.
Consequences for the perpetrator
The 59-year-old was taken to a correctional facility on Saturday. He is now facing criminal charges for robbery. This turbulent scene in the electronics store shows how quickly a simple theft can turn into a dangerous situation!
