Witten students work for a good cause: 7,000 euros for children!

An exciting day for the students of the Ruhr High School Witten! Instead of sitting in the classroom, they turned into committed helpers for a good cause. On this special day, the youngsters put their textbooks aside and packed to collect valuable donations. Your mission? To earn money for the Ruhr area children's hospice service!

The support came from the heart: Numerous private individuals and companies from Witten offered jobs that gave the students the opportunity to use their workforce for a good reason. And the result is impressive! Almost 7,000 euros were collected and handed over to the children's hospice service. The social day is not just a unique event - at all three high schools in Witten, this has long since become a permanently established tradition!

a sign of solidarity

With their use, the young people show that they are willing to take responsibility and help others. The social day at the Ruhr-Gymnasium is not only an opportunity to work, but also a valuable lesson in solidarity and sense of community. This not only collects money, but also raised awareness of the needs of children in difficult life situations. A fascinating example of how education goes beyond lessons and promotes the social commitment of young people!
