DJK SG Tackenberg shines at the indoor sports festival in Düsseldorf!

An exciting competition in Düsseldorf! The indoor sports festival of the ASC Düsseldorf took place on November 16, 2024, where the athletes of the DJK SG Tackenberg measured themselves with around 450 other athletes. The indoor season began with promising performance and personal records.

The young Emi Strauch (W13) showed her skills over 60 meters and in long jump. She was satisfied with a time of 9.90 seconds over the sprint distance and a jump of 3.60 meters, but the ambition made her strive for more. Her teammate Charlotte Höring, also W13, ran over the 60 meters with 8.83 seconds and just missed her personal best time from the outdoor season. In the long jump, she set a new house record with 4.64 meters, which brought her the 10th place, but unfortunately she missed moving into the final fight of the best 8.

Greta Potschien shines in the W12

The talented Greta Potschien competed in the W12 and had the greatest competition. Unimpressed by the 65 fellow campaigners, she sprinted over the 60 meters in 9.39 seconds and thus set up a new personal best. In the long jump, she rewarded herself with a jump over 4.09 meters, which secured the 18th place of 67 participants. A successful start for the Tackenberger athletics youth!
