The semi -finals in the district cup: Vreden and city wages fight for the title!

The juniors' circle cup goes into the decisive phase. The quarter -final games have now been completed and the semi -finalists for the different age groups in the Ahaus/Coesfeld district have been determined. The big final day will take place on November 23, but first the crucial semi -finals have to be played.

In the A-Junior category, the teams of SuS Stadtlohn and SpVgg Vreden were able to qualify for the next round on Wednesday evening. Stadtlohn prevailed 4-2 against the JSG Ahaus, while Vreden scored an impressive 5-0 against JSG Südlohn. Both teams now have the opportunity to measure themselves on October 30 with their semi -final, GW Nottuln and DJK Dülmen.

The B-Juniors of SpVgg Vreden also made the jump into the semi-finals. They were able to prevail 5-2 against FC Epe in the quarterfinals. The opponents in the semifinals are SW Holtwick, who held 6: 3 in their game against JSG Alstätte/Graes. This shows that the Vredeners are in the top position and feel well prepared.

In the C-Junior category, both SpVgg Vreden and SuS Stadtlohn won their quarter-finals. Vreden defeated FC Epe 2-0, while Stadtlohn turned the JSG Lünten 4-0. The semi -finals will take place on October 29, in which Vreden meets GW Nottuln again, while Stadtlohn receives JSG Osterwick/Darfeld.

The B juniors also show impressive achievements. The ASC Schöppingen and Union Wessum have qualified for the semi -final encounters with clear victories. Schöppingen completed her game with an 8-0 win over SF Graes, while Wessum triumphed 7-0 against JSG Lünten. On November 6th, the two district league teams face each other in a direct duel, while VfL Billerbeck plays against the winner of the game between Seppenrade and DJK Coesfeld.

The next games promise exciting encounters and show that the talented teams want to prove themselves again and again on the field.
