ATM blasting in Borken: escape, arrest and high prey!

In the early morning hours of a dramatic day in Borken (Schwalm-Eder-Kreis), three strangers broke into a bank and blew up two ATMs with a huge bang! The explosion was so strong that it was hurried by federal police officers at the train station nearby, which immediately hurried to the crime scene. But while two of the perpetrators fled on foot, an accomplice waited in a striking, highly motorized vehicle and took flight in no time when the police arrived.
But the officers were on the Zack! They grab one of the criminals-a 24-year-old man from the Netherlands, who has appeared several times because of ATM blasting. When he was arrested, it turned out that he was not on the road empty: there were several ten thousand euros in cash in two travel bags! Whether this prey actually comes from the blown -out machines is currently being examined meticulously.

At the scene, the investigators found two dangerous explosive packages that were defused by experts from the Hessian State Criminal Police Office. The property damage due to this criminal attack is estimated to be half a million euros, but luckily there were no injuries. The search is in full swing while the police are looking for the fleeting perpetrators with a large contingent.This year Hessen has already recorded 22 ATM sprinkles, an alarming increase compared to the previous year. The authorities ask witnesses who have more information about the events in Borken to report to the criminal service on 0561 910-3320, while the arrested must be responsible for the Kassel District Court.
